Manager/Supervisor
Job Purpose
Wana Brands is an infused marijuana products manufacturer. This position helps to promote Wana Brands by supporting the revenue and commercial strategies of the Commercial Team. The role will engage in data analysis and provide guidance with forecasting, analysis on ROI of pricing and promotional strategies and build cross-market strategies to achieve AOP goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities:
  • Provide real-time data analysis on Wana sales in all our markets.
  • Create business plans on SKU Rationalization, Rate of Sales, Innovation and Pricing Strategies.
  • Help drive pricing analysis for product lines in each individual market.
  • Analyze promotional strategy for each brand and product line in individual markets.
  • Examine and evaluate promotional spend and ROI for each retailer and market.
  • Evaluate most effective Portfolio assortment and how to maximize revenue of the portfolio.
  • Develop cross-market sales strategies to meet AOP goals.
  • Identify new product opportunities in markets across our portfolio.
  • Utilize consumption data to influence customer decision making.
  • Analyze trade spend strategy to maximize profitability.
  • Predictive sales analysis based upon sales platforms (Tableau, BDSA, Alpine IQ, Headset etc.).
  • Facilitate quarterly and yearly sales forecasting.
  • Build better query analysis reporting with IT team (no buys, rolling period reports on product level, and product family).
  • Perform Pricing and Profitability Analysis.
  • Evaluate product pricing strategies to maximize profitability while ensuring competitive market positioning.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to assess the financial impact of pricing changes.
  • Provide recommendations and insights on financial decisions, investment opportunities, and risk management.
  • Compile, maintain, and analyze market, customer, and internal sales data.
  • Identify new opportunities for growth.

  • Experience and knowledge of working in CPG and utilizing data analysis to drive sales.
  • Creativity to not just run the numbers but find the opportunities that are not easily seen.
  • Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with internal and external partners, maintaining them over time.
  • Clearly communicate information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has direct report(s) and overall supervisory responsibility. Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Analytics.
  • Prior sales CPG analyst experience with strong analytical background.
  • Prior revenue generation and modeling experience.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
This position requires a valid state-issued license to work in the cannabis industry (e.g., MED Badge).

Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual compensation commensurate with experience from $85,000 - $125,000.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position is exempt from overtime pay due to executive exemption.
This position regularly works normal business hours, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. Some weekend and night work will be expected. Please confirm with the supervisor regarding the expected working schedule.
